Dance Across History chronicles the inspiration and work of a unique dance collective. The collective celebrates Juneteenth (a holiday that commemorates the abolition of slavery) by bringing together retired professional dancers of color from all over the United States. Every year, they create a show that conveys reverence, history, and culture through dance by celebrating influential people of color and their contributions to the world.
